Hanging a six foot Ice Cave

March 20, 2018

The art shuffle in my loft is a constant experience.

We have to do The Shuffle as pieces come and go for different shows. Today we moved “Her” to the only other un occupied wall that fits its 52” and places a 72’’ Ice Cave With A View next to the bed.

🖼

Yeah, I could keep the, in storage but it’s amazing how empty and soulless a space feels after it once held artwork and is then bare. My goal is have other artists’ work in my home in the future.

🖼

Next week Avendasora and Survivor come back from Sotheby’s and we’ll have to move Deliverance to storage. I think I’m the only person who really likes Deliverance anyway. Then everything will rest for a while until the summer art festivals begin.
