Some landscapes don’t ask to be seen—they wait to be remembered. This forest in Italy felt less like a place and more like a rhythm.
Tall, slender trunks rise like pillars through a blur of rust-red and deep green—an abstract forestscape that feels like it’s in motion, even in its stillness. The trees stretch skyward, but the image is softened into painterly streaks, as if the moment was pulled gently through time. There’s a hum to the piece, a quiet energy that moves through the frame like breath.
This isn’t just a view of a forest—it’s the memory of walking through one. Sunlight filtering through leaves. Earth underfoot. A sense of being watched by the wild, yet welcomed by it.

About the prints: I print on a premium substrate that is unparalleled in depth and luminosity. The material refracts light in such a way that light travels laterally through the paper as well as reflects to the audience creating a brilliant effect that many mistake to be rear illumination. Each print is then face mounted to acrylic and sandwiched to a protective backing. The artwork is then framed or a recessed mount is added to the back to float on the wall. I offer Tabacchino and other handmade framing options. Available starting 24”x60” through 60”x120” and custom sizes.
